IDOT Helicopter Crashes on I-294
These pics of today's crash of an Illinois Department of Transportation helicopter along the Tri-State Tollway courtesy of my sister station, WLS-TV.
The helicopter crashed along the busy tollway just at the end of the Tuesday morning rush.
Thanks to heroic efforts by the pilot, there were no fatalities in either the copter or on the ground.
